ometimes the smallest spaces in the landscape yield the biggest results. Think about those areas
of your yard that you see the most. What landscape do you see when you pull into the driveway every day? What do envision when looking out the kitchen window? Even the smallest nook can be transformed into a place of rest and relaxation, given a little vision and some hard work.

This water garden (left) we designed and installed in the historic district in Gainesville gives an opportunity to sit and listen to the quiet gurgle of a fountain where only dead grass and an empty
wall previously occupied space. An unused birdbath in the backyard (middle right) was given new life and became a miniature garden of succulents and trailing roses. No matter what size the space I am given to work with, I always like to envision how it will be used and think about maximizing each view.
Another historical property in Gainesville (above) was given a makeover with window boxes overflowing with orange geraniums and lime colored sedums.

Old World charm leads the way in this courtyard garden with small planting pockets and colorful containers leaving plenty of room on the patio for entertaining. Grandma's lake house is now a favorite place to visit once this small tool shed was turned into a playhouse (right) for the grandkids. We created a children's garden complete with paths winding around the form of a large butterflyshaped bed with lots of colorful plants for them to touch, taste and smell.
